@bluesqueakpip Apparently, TDOTD has really outraged a lot of folk (Quelle surprise). I can’t wait to give it a proper read to see what all the fuss is about (I already know a couple of the big gripes). I’ll be interested in what others think about all the new bits. Just a quick flick shows that it’s packed with spoilers!

Gallifrey One was this weekend. Cool that costume designer Hayley Nebauer revealed the origins of the tattered coat.

Doctor_Dave80@jimthefish I would guess the bum-bag is costume but no idea how permanent. Presumably it’s transcendental like the Doctor’s pockets. The Police box is the weirdest yet & that’s saying something! I think they’re going for RTDesque.

Originally, Dr Who did even better for Davison by moving from Saturdays. However, putting it up against Coronation Street in the late 80s was a bit of a suicide mission.
I can’t remember what the rumours are for what’s currently getting reconstructed. I think it may be ‘The Crusade’ having it’s missing eps animated.
The ‘Enemy’ Special Edition may have something to do with the passing of Deborah Watling but I’m not sure.
It’s released on the 19th of March.
There may be some truth in the article, because if series 11 broadcasts in the autumn, it faces a constantly shifting time-slot scheduled around Strictly Come Dancing (The Beeb’s big Saturday night show). Also if shown on Saturdays, it will likely overlap with The X Factor on ITV. Yikes!

Apparently this lawsuit is ‘fake news’ but interesting nonetheless…
Moffat’s tenure began & ended with the Doctor dressed as a ‘raggedy man’…
I was thinking much the same thing. It may be a different thing to see it on screen though. Also it might develop and change very quickly (Matt Smith’s first tweed jacket was binned after his first story…).
I can’t say if similar coats are available on the high street. (Weirdly) An unofficial coat appeared almost immediately. @craig – Yes – Made in China! At around £75 it’s cheaper than the official Capaldi ones, at least…
