@blenkinsopthebrave @winston @hiker and to everyone else.

Unfortunately the login issue is something I have no control over – I get locked out by it too.

It’s a security issue, as WordPress sites have been under attack since December when there was a massive databreach of 1.4 billion usernames and…[Read more]

Part 2 of 3. You can see part 1 above.

I went to see “Three Billboards…” tonight.

It’s really good. Not even just really good, but really, really good. Even really, really, really good.

I was totally wrapped up in it, fully engaged, I laughed, I was moved, I cried a little, and the plot constantly had me out-foxed. It’s brilliantly done.

Frances McDormand and and Sam Rockwell…[Read more]

It’s been a while, but I think @JimTheFish wins the “Theories even more insane than what’s actually happening” prize this week, or month, for the sonic earrings.

Oh, and this made me laugh a lot. “Smells Like Teen Spirit” in a Major key.

@whisht @jimthefish regarding the Hollies and Creep I came across this yesterday which is quite fun.

It seems a little legal spat has started involving Lana Del Rey and Radiohead over her song “Get Free” which, to me, does sound a lot like “Creep” by Radiohead. But then it turns out The Hollies sued Radiohead for copying them – I can hear similarities, but not as much as the Radiohead/Lana Del Rey songs.

@wolfweed I think a blast or two of the sonic may do the trick.

@JimTheFish I’m sure they’ll be churning out copycat coats in China or India by the thousand before the end of the year – will probably come with the braces and T-shirt too. I like how DW Magazine put a little pic of Tom Baker on the cover to remind you where the colours for the T-shirt come from.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all you lovely people. What an exciting one we have ahead.

@Pedant Cheers. I’ve just driven back from Scotland and all the way back I was thinking, damn, I haven’t renewed it yet and it runs out at the end of the day! Have done it now.

Hi @karenmarie, @scaryb is right, it’s the Profile Picture you want to do. Just upload your image, drag the corners to choose your crop, then click crop image and it should save.

It should be instant. If you have any more problems please let me know. It could be the format, but it should handle standard picture types such as .jpg .gif and .png

This just made laugh. Thought you might get a kick out of it.

I see the Weeping Angels have had their Christmas night out, then. pic.twitter.com/uKbhhQV21a— Andrew R (@ExcelPope) December 19, 2017

Interestingly, I woke up this morning to find we had a new member, with a Russian email address but a British name. They posted some abusive messages about the new, female Doctor.

I’ve spammed them. But looks like the Russians are coming for the BBC now. Wow.

And even more wow – we’re on Putin’s radar. How exciting. 🙂

Looks like my Christmas…[Read more]

For those of you in the UK there’s a very nice Christmas treat on BBC’s iPlayer.

For the next month you can watch every regeneration story, from the eighth Doctor becoming the War Doctor – the short “The Night of the Doctor” – right through to Eleven’s regeneration into Twelve.

I’m excited that it includes the 50th special, “Day of the Doctor”,…[Read more]
