@craig

At no point did I think everyone’s gonna die

I think that’s because that wasn’t the threat. I’ve just watched the episode again – this is one seriously creepy episode, and the threat isn’t to people’s lives as such. It’s to their very selves, their souls.

Which is why it starts with the Ux doing their ‘faith’ thing, I think. Tim S…[Read more]

@craig thank you it was probably because I need to edit it twice when I spotted one of the dreaded autocorrect mistakes when reading it through for the second time

@craig

Well, obviously “cutting off” people might be something Puro might like -but hardly necessary when, like the one she referred to above, do not make  ad hominin attacks -and they/she has not.  As for the other toxic one which led to removing that conversation -that was a really good decision Craig. It’s sad to do but at the same time  I th…[Read more]

@craig

All good! Maybe you could cut off the seeoswald? The poster has no critical value beyond “this is rubbish!” and “rescue the show” and “they’ve gotten worse” which is kinda odd as the last episode was quite the attraction at the local philosophy club, apparently (I don’t darken their doors, not after I mis-translated Latin). Other than…[Read more]

@Craig

Not at all. Am now admiring the skeleton.

@thane16

I suspect @craig decided not to wait.

@craig

Not sure where the comment went about “deleting” a conversation? When we clicked on it, we ended up with the top of ‘The Ghost Monument’ page  – – -but with no pages -like a whole different universe!  A solitract, maybe.

I just scooted thru ALL the comments on this page and was happy to say that  I didn’t “lose it” (as I was prone to do…[Read more]

@craig  – This face could do with a facelift…

Or maybe Face/ Off works better.

@Craig

Somewhere waaaay upthread I posted an interview with her, and I think she was talking about this. She seems to be quite ambitious on the directorial/ creative side, which given how Hollywood tends to treat women who have the brass-bound audacity to approach 30, is probably not a bad thing.

Ah. Here.

@craig

I believe such shenanigans have now been outlawed by the sporting killjoys under the Unsporting Behaviour (or possibly Obstruction) law, along with such things as donkey kicks.

@craig! Man that IS AWESOME!  I know this story. I thought I did, I mean. I heard of this

I’m telling Dad.

@whisht @craig

And possibly ‘It’s Not Easy Being Green’?

@craig

yeah, I saw that earlier. As usual, CoG is one of the voices of reason among the WhoTubers and on this he’s dead right.

I suspect the Whovian obsession with ratings comes from when ratings were used as the excuse for cancellation in the 1980s. It’s a hangover from a time when they actually meant something and they live in fear of a time…[Read more]

@craig

One of the things I spotted was the bowelstreak-esque sites crying about bloggers trying to deny the ratings collapse.

Next tine I’m just going to point out that a twat on YT is still a twat, and just a blogger with a camera.

Just notice I mistagged you when I put up my blog, so I case you haven’t spotted it, it’s there.

@rob me too! Last week and lost the whole hog. Luckily, a mate had brought me a new (very small, mind) coffee plunger with a sweet bean. I had just come home and fancied a good brew. So, rob it calmed me down. We have merlo coffee here? And if you purchase a large tin of it (as I did about 3 months ago) they give you a free coffee AND a $5 voucher…[Read more]

@craig Wow. Impressed. I am really looking forward to seeing this series. It looks like something I will really like and it is set in Ireland an added bonus. I notice there are several Irish drama series in the works at the moment, one featuring the 1916 Uprising.

Cheers

Janette
