@badwulf and @purofilion Yes it’s Rusty the ‘good’ Dalek. He’s still out there – wouldn’t that be an
really interesting conflict between a good Dalek and Dr. Skarosa/Cyberman ? I for 1 would like to
see how that would shake out — I need to find more clues cause love investigating the mystery – if

So basically Dalek Caan got Davros out of the time lock
Davros might have then helped Nissy out of time lock knowing how to from Dalek Caan
then Davros may be planning a great revenge deception like Dalek Caan did
and lastly Dalek Caan had a prison ship and Missy mentioned a prison camp and the
netersphere felt somewhat like a prison camp to me

@purofilion hi ! So wouldn’t hiding inside a cyberman be a perfect place for Davros!
Ok so I looked up some stuff -Dalek Caan escaped the time war thru a temporal shift and
rescued Davros. Caan also stole a prison ship made by time lords and escaped with it inside
the void by using [that was the doomsday episode] some special ship that had tardis tech
– Missy mentioned a Dalek camp in the episode? Maybe Darvos plans to
deceive everyone the way Dalek Caan deceived him ? Also – the master was resurrected
by Rasilon but ‘ran away’ to the end of the universe but then found out what Rasilon did
and fell into the time lock with him – So maybe Davros thinks he could use te Master’s
hatred and anger over what happened to him and he rescues the Master out of the time lock
with the knowledge he had from Dalek Caan how to do that
I like your notion about going along for the ride but not pulling any strings of the puppet/master –yet

The Master/Missy is one of Davros great rivals but they both hold similar grudges and
are equally ruthless. [Actually he might be really upset with the daleks after that 10th Doctor
crucible incident and maybe he has it in for them especially considering the betrayal by Dalek cahn]
I think I saw someplace that it was implied that the Supreme Dalek got Davros out of the time lock
so that would mean that Davros knew how to get out and could of gotten the Master out too?

I was thinking about Dr. Skarosa maybe aka Davros?? so why? well wasn’t he also trapped in the time bubble?
Could Missy and Davros have joined forces together in a pact to escape the time lock – Missy gets from
Darvos the DNA tech to make an army to gift to the Doctor and Davros get a new mobile body plus the ability
to sabotage the cybers and maybe rebuild a new Skaro on Earth to fight against the galifreyans ?
{this is what came into my head while I was having a bike ride with my kid- obsessed much?? lol]

@danmartin — I have seen your blog in the Guardian and have also previously made similar remarks
as you have regarding the comments. So I was just wondering about what you were thinking about
the new format that they were using? To me it is very much more like ‘tabloid’. So to me I
was wondering if that might in some way unintentionally contribute to the increase in ‘tabloid-ish’
commentaries? I don’t think this new format is a real improvement. It makes the content seems less
serious [if that’s the right word]? In a world filled with so much turbulence it seems wrong to
me to be taking current events less serious. But that’s just IMHO

don’t serve me as I would hope that they would. Your explanation was totally an “Oh Yeah”
moment. Although I still have a question about the graveyard cybers getting a ticket back
into the nethersphere – and for that matter who was the cyber that was inside Dr Changs office?
I recall Chang saying Dr. Skarosa but was it skarosa/cyberman that confronted Clara ?
Still haven’t been able to get my mind to a clear explanation for that one

WHi @all – I was wondering if any one knows where to find the BG Who online now? I used to be able
to see every single episode of BG Who on Daily motion on the greendude33 channel [maybe that was 1 of you?]
but alas- tis no more ! Unfortunately he didn’t leave a forwarding address. I was thinking that it
might be nice to revisit some old master episodes after seeing comments about Delgado etc. over

Spent over the past hour surfing thru this music thread and discovered some totally super pieces
that I hadn’t known about – made a very interesting and enjoyable evening !
I guess I should thank everyone by contributing a post so as I haven’t seen a lot of jazz and I do
really like jazz I was thinking of Regina Taylor? She is a very talented jazz violinist
and I have a few of her cd’s that are among the many I fall back on when I want to have some
good music in the back round – this is a piece that some one posted of her on You tube

@scaryb Yes- The graveyard Cybers were refered to as Newborns by the Doctor which reinforces why I think
they aren’t ‘completed” enough to be re-booted into the nethersphere
@bluesqueakpip I have a post a bit way up thread about Osgood- I had this notion that it might be Missy that
wants to bring her back as part of some ‘Master” plan. Missy has so much experience now with resurrecting
both herself and the cybers. It would be really something if she attempts to resurrect a Osgood/Zygon!
Its too soon for me to say why I think it could be a Missy plan other than she actually wants the
Zygon because they can shape shift and this Osgood version has knowledge of how to get into UNIT ? Regarding
the idea that the Zygon wont come back as Osgood if she’s dead- well there are a lot of dead in the
Nethersphere with their minds still intact ??

@scaryb I guess I’m differentiating between those Cybermen that we saw in the nethersphere and the
grave yard Cybers – to me the graveyard bunch are [and I cant explain why entirely] as low ranking
privates and the Cybers that were in the nethersphere as higher ranking “chosen” as in the
episodes where we saw Missy choosing certain people, Danny was chosen. So to my mind not all the cybers
do not get a return ticket to the nethersphere

Thank you to @phaseshift for the new Master blog and for giving me an idea about resurrecting Osgood
Well maybe it will be similar to how the Simm master and for that matter the Cybermen were resurrected.
With just a little DNA ? The Simm master returned and so did the cyberman so why not “pollinate’
as new Osgood? Could this even be a subtle hint about the “master” plan around Osgood ? Osgood did
tell Missy that she could be useful just before she was killed – and Missy might also decide that
Osgood might have had a point. Plus the Master has all kinds of experience in the resurrection business
now. I just have a hunch about that but I still need to come up with a good enough reason as to why the
Master will want to bring back Osgood – all input is welcome !!!

@phaseshift – There was definitely an undercurrent jab in that comment [and for my part I took absolutely
no offense in it as a ‘Yank’ girl] GW was one of our worst Presidents IMHO! Im happy to say I never
voted for him and was in fact extremely sad that he got the second term ! However, something
interesting is if you interpret the Galifrey coordinates from Missy as a date then it was the
date that the US Congress voted to give GW war powers to invade Iraq- which will be a difficult
piece of history to swallow for a very long time ! So I think maybe SM wanted to reinforce that
notion in an episode full of hard decisions having to be made?

@timeloop I like flashbacks as a device cause they can help interpret parts of a story or they
can manipulate how your thinking or get into motive or throw you a fun twist. As this is a
time travel show using flashbacks or even flash forwards seems very appropriate to me
Yes we could also have the extra treat of revisiting other Doctors too !
The flashbacks that I recall would be the 8th Doctor minisode and the Waters of Mars when
10 used his remembrance of what he had read in newspapers about the crew and of course there was
lots of it in the 50th anniversary show. Don’t recall specifically a lot of them in BG Who though

illness which causes damage every where around her why would I think she deserves sympathy?
Only because people [and aliens] that suffer from mental illness/ are folks that find it very difficult
to differentiate between their ‘identity’ and their illness – Rasilon really didn’t help either with what
he did – Missy cant put distance between the 2 – so instead of feeling vulnerable she does bad things
that land her in hot water – ultimately I think and perhaps also the Doctor may think that

So to my mind I find her engaging cause she is a antihero that is easy for me to sympathize with too.

@ geoffers – I have had the same thoughts about how the boy returned in such a perfectly preserved body!
I have been trying to work that out too but so far I got nothing 🙁 So I have to assume as well he must
have some artificial components. In regards to Missy- earlier in the episode when she transported herself
off the plane before it exploded it looked like the same blue contained disappearance which is totally
different from the other reddish explody times when different victims ‘bought it’.
Also, I think she has the red telephone box as a tardis now because why would 1- they keep showing a red telephone box so often? I have been to England many times and I know that there aren’t that many around
anymore and 2 – look at the episode at about 7 1/2 minutes in when the people are standing at the gate
of the cemetery with the black cloud growing over it. There is another red phone box and it has a second
red phone box ‘reflected’ in it. Now it may be an optical illusion but the ‘reflected’ phone box has a
kind of spout on top spewing black smoke! As if its a hint ? As if it is the Missy Tardis? So to me that
means Missy has a Tardis to escape to and does not have to rely on the Nethersphere which btw I think has
been captured by Unit and possibly being powered down ???

– I’d love to see Michele Gomez show up on Sherlock as anything
– Looked up the coordinates that Missy gave the Doc as a possible significant date in history and I came
up with the day that the US Congress gave the President war powers for the Iraq invasion which is what
Kate exactly told the Doctor that the planet Earth had given to him -that seems a bit odd to me

@ DrBen and all- Regarding your comments about the series being wonderful and painful may I suggest
that is exactly why it is such great TV ! I have read some of the comments elsewhere about this
season and I am astounded how many have disliked it- some intensely ! I think because it isn’t
the old school Doctor Who anymore. Also people tend to be risk adverse and SM has really taken
some extreme risks. But I have always seen the show as pushing the risk barrier. SM has evolved it
into something that is really different and is also totally his new-Who!
Some folks thought SM’s Who was sub-par or just lacking or it wasn’t what they tuned in for.
I have been reflecting just to take for an example of how all the villains have changed.
Giving cybermen the ability to reason apart from the collective [although technically that
isn’t really new since it occurred once in the Canary wharf episode] and of course there is
Missy and the good Dalek and the lying liars and so on- its all different now but in really
amazingly creatively realistically constructed ways
SO I agree with you to some extent that I guess many folks feel that they are being too challenged
by the realism of this re-boot when its not supposed to be so serious if its a scifi fantasy show.

In the scene when the black cloud grows over the gated cemetery and we see a red phone box behind the
people did any one else spot a refection of another red phone box in the mirror-like windows ? It
seemed to me like the second red phone box had a chimney spout on top spewing out that black smoke-cloud
so I am just wondering if that is a clue that the red tardis may indeed be Missy’s tardis?
Also I am wondering about the co ordinates that Missy gave the Doctor – he put 10 0 11 00 02 but was
that the correct interpretation? I listened to her say them again and I’m just not sure if they could
have been entered differently
She also mentioned a Dalek camp in the graveyard? I also have been wondering if there is some Dalek
prison camp that isn’t trapped in the time lock bubble – Could it be located on the North pole of
some planet in time for the Xmas special ?

@ Arbutus – The Doctor spent a extraordinarily small amount of time when he opened the Tardis doors
expecting some evidence of Galifrey. I still think those numbers ‘might’ mean something but he really
didn’t do a thorough check. If he had would he have discovered a ‘crack’ in the neighborhood or
something else?

natured bullying but I think that sister thing is suspiciously odd -ish. Would like to see
a lot of the characters from this season show up for Xmas ! Might just take a peak later on

and what will Clara do about him ? Personally, it has all sorts of ‘oddness’ for me however at
least he doesn’t become a cybezombie . The idea that the dead whether adult or child could get turned
into that seemed a bit rough but I’ve never been a fan of Zombie horror either

@everyone I am desolate over the end of this series! I have noticed that there has been some negativism
about it however I for 1 thought it was excellent! I think that SM conceived something
that made the series more sophisticated – an appreciation for deeper main character development!

Cyberman Danny will be back – he is now the leader of a vast army and will probably be called
upon in a future season
I really do realize that the whole Presidential thing is very ridiculous to most Who fans but
I thought the president of Earth/chief executive is well– ok for not being a native born that has
a major aversion to wars
