    >@blenkinsopthebrave: Love the video – thank you!

    @lisa: Interesting and could explain why he wears his glasses a lot.

    >@janetteb:  Agree with @mudlark that the Doctor does not appear to be telling Nardole the truth about anything and may well be exaggerating his blindness. I wonder how much Nardole really knows about the Doctor.

    @wolfweed: How does Dr Who manage to be so topical? Does it have crystal balls?

    Did you ever watch Spooks?  They managed to do the same thing. it was quite frightening at times, just how c lose they got to real events – before they happened.

    @mudlark: I only noticed the skull when I watched the episode again.

    @pedantI wonder if the Doc is fu…[Read more]

    @thane15: Being biased, I couldn’t agree with you more – or is it more with you. There must be plenty of actors who could have played that episode, but none would have been as convincing and as heart breaking as Peter Capaldi. But then we shall never know.

    @pedant: Re: This made me laugh.

    Good one, thank you. Tom Baker was superb as the Doctor, but Peter Capaldi (in my opinion) is outstanding.

    Let’s face it, most of the Doctors were great.

    So very sad. Catweazle was wonderful. Thanks for news about DT and Rose on audio.  I listen to a lot of these.

    I’ll take a look at You Tube, they may have ANA thingy.

    I think that Bill is definitely curious but knows when to stop? Last week, she said “you’ve been holding out on me, do you have, like, magic whaling powers? and then immediately after says, “or is that a personal question?” I believe she’s curious an…[Read more]

    Finally I can have some time on this forum! Real life gives me the pip sometimes.

    What a change this episode was, as well as a shock. I haven’t read all your posts, so many, but I shall attempt the task as soon as I can.

    My OH didn’t care for Oxygen, in particular the ‘corpse suits.’ To his mind they were  too amateurish. Nevertheless, although…[Read more]

    Rose is my favourite, closely followed by Bill. As for Doomsday – pass the tissues!  The music didn’t help either.

    Have you seen the Doctor who concerts? There have been three. One in Cardiff, two in the Royal Albert Hall London. The first two were hosted by David Tennant, and the third by Matt smith. I can’t find out whether there has…[Read more]

    @ichabod:  It makes him a “good man”.

    True, but as he said to Clara – “Goodness, has nothing to do with it.”

    Derek Jacobi was a fine Master. He made me shiver.

    Puro:  I’m running out of ideas.

    And I’ve stopped trying. all will be revealed – eventually. I do enjoy reading all the posts though, and Who knows, one of you might be right.

    @arch: Why not.

    Trouble is, even Davros wouldn’t have been so cheerful about child eating monsters. he’d also have trouble playing the piano. still it’s a theory.

    None of the people I can think of, would be thrilled about children being eaten.

    How can Clara be in the vault, the Doctor doesn’t remember her, only her name? As for ME, she is with Clara and neither of them would rejoice in the consuming of children.

    The Sherlock touch, was fun -could it be Euros? Not likely.

    The photo didn’t remind me of…[Read more]

    I’m following the lead of a member who wrote their opinion before reading the rest.

    David Suchet was  menacing, simply because most of the time he was so charming and gentle. Beautifully done.

    At last Bill has discovered that the Doctor is a Time Lord, but only because he offered the information. She is such a curious young woman as a rule, so…[Read more]

    @zeyra;

    Well I liked it very much. The words summed up the incredible sadness  felt, for the Doctor – and for Clara of course. The most poignant moment for me, was when the Doctor  takes Clara’s hand from his face, and kisses it.  It was Peter’s idea, or so I read. The tears flowed, I don’t think I have ever cried like that over an episode of Do…[Read more]

    @ichabod: *snort*  Was it Red or White wine?

    Two things, that have been puzzling me. I know I should mention them on the appropriate threads. But here goes anyway.

    In Dark Water, when Clara threatens – and indeed does –  to  throw all seven keys into the lava. thus preventing the Doctor ever  entering  the Tardis again.  The fact that he often…[Read more]
