The NEW infinite monkey theorem states that a monkey searching Wikipedia for an infinite amount of time whilst watching Dr Who will almost surely discover the secrets of the series arc…..
11 September 2014 at 12:48 #3145510 September 2014 at 08:43 #31406Xmas special not being filmed in Glen Affric!
I’m not saying where though, as it will ruin series 8…..

Orson Pink is an anagram of ‘Prison on K’…
10 September 2014 at 08:17 #314059 September 2014 at 13:34 #31361I can see my spoon theory is mostly disliked….. So I’m not going to put a stupid bet on like: ‘I’ll eat a spoon if that’s not a person!’
I’m sure people are more concerned with what that is the Dr’s eating (looks like Polyfilla)…2+2=5… Come on. It’s Uri Geller, isn’t it?

‘Let’s all concentrate together. The spoon will begin to bend… Did you know I was very good friends with Michael Jackson? I still talk to him… on the other side…’
Now – Is this image a clue or not…? (i.e. the Dr is Jesus, Clara is Mary…therefore…)9 September 2014 at 12:20 #313558 September 2014 at 23:10 #31337@bluesqueakpip
I’m loving – ‘The spare who didn’t want to wash up’… Very topical what with today’s news of a royal understudy on the way…
http://wegeekgirls.com/2014/09/07/doctor-who-series-8-robot-of-sherwood-production-artwork/As to the Shrek thing (thanks @chickenelly ), I’m surprised that Disney don’t own Robin Hood along with everything else…

The B&W Minstrel Show – Who knew?!
8 September 2014 at 17:22 #31325Congrats @fatmaninabox for the official pass. You are a Gent, Skol-ler and quite possibly an Acrobat…
8 September 2014 at 17:18 #31324Okay, so no Dr 11 getting his leg blown off scenes in the 50th Anniversary Boxset… Grrr!!!

Warning – Links on this page might change…

Also in HMV today I think there was a complete 11th Dr boxset… There was definitely the new Capaldi Calendar!
The Deep Breath DVDs are postponed til next week (they’re probably hurriedly editing out ‘that kiss’ and the hair-pulling!)8 September 2014 at 14:24 #31309The Xmas special is being filmed in Glen Affric!

http://www.doctorwhotv.co.uk/robot-of-sherwood-what-was-cut-66300.htm

The cut scene occurs before the duel ‘continues’ on the beam..If you want to see it, you might want to try dailymotion…
7 September 2014 at 22:25 #312907 September 2014 at 21:56 #31287@apopheniac – 5 minutes to edit…
Cloudwatching is cool…
7 September 2014 at 19:54 #31273@geoffers – Yes – It’s a haunted spoon!
I tried to see if there were hidden runes in the laserbeam sequence but to no avail…
I suppose I’d better go back to the blackboard…
7 September 2014 at 19:18 #31270So I’m getting the impression that this boxset doesn’t have the alternative scenes from ‘Time of the Doctor’ where Matt Smith got his leg blown off. I’m very disappointed if that’s the case. I also hope it’s got the full version of the Prom… Can anyone confirm?

At least it has the DOTD Comic Con Trailer (still not seen that yet!)

7 September 2014 at 13:47 #312517 September 2014 at 01:45 #31218Can someone who can re-attach their heads be considered half human (or even humanoid)?
I understand where the cut scene fit in now. Before the scene on the beam…
Does this remind you of Gallifrey, or is it more like a Sun?
7 September 2014 at 00:31 #312167 September 2014 at 00:19 #31215‘An intriguing gallimaufry.’ Is that a block of cheese?
6 September 2014 at 23:37 #31212Look very carefully at the spoon as the Doctor licks it… (pause button helps)
There is a person reflected in it in a couple of frames… Is that just the cameraman?
1190 AD is when ‘The Time Warrior’ is set. That story featured robot knights and a castle threatened by an exploding spaceship…
6 September 2014 at 21:27 #31206Perhaps it was the placing of the bag over his head & the fact(?) that he was half human?
http://doctorwhoworldwide.com/2014/09/06/details-of-the-cut-beheading-scene-during-robot-of-sherwood/I can’t really judge unless I see the cut scene.
I hope we see it restored on the dvd as opposed to as a deleted scene (or not at all)…

6 September 2014 at 20:58 #31203The decapitation scene was cut. I’m not sure how much more I can say about that…
Yes, it’s a little bit ironic that the robot knight being beheaded was left in.6 September 2014 at 20:27 #311996 September 2014 at 18:57 #31190I see that that Kasterborous page has been removed now.
Whatever the case, people seem to have very strong opinions about this edit.
@craig – I’m interested to hear your verdict once you’ve watched the broadcast episode.6 September 2014 at 13:45 #31185Complete Season 24 boxset for Germany this November…

6 September 2014 at 13:12 #31184Welcome, @apopheniac
That is a very cool (and appropriate) name.
6 September 2014 at 01:30 #31160The only (sort of onscreen, humanish/maybe androidy?) examples I can think of are the chap in ‘The Awakening’ and the Headless Monks. (And of course there’s poor Dorium.) The Awakening one was pretty dark stuff…

Non-human, the Cybermen often suffered such a fate (onscreen). The Raston warrior robot was responsible for lots of course…
It probably wouldn’t feel right watching any of that sort of thing at the moment…

5 September 2014 at 13:30 #31127Okay, the drama is firmly back with the show. As I said, mixed opinions…

4 September 2014 at 22:13 #31100Welcome, @jimbomcmaster
Looking forward to hearing your bonkers theories!
4 September 2014 at 22:04 #31098There seem to be very mixed opinions on the interweb about the ROS edit. Personally, I can totally see why they would remove the scene out of respect.
I can also see why Rusty didn’t do his dark deed onscreen. Perhaps that story suffered just a little by it’s omission.
Let’s hope ROS still makes sense at least… Did they have a contingency plan whilst filming?
I wonder if these scenes will appear on the DVDs at all now?

4 September 2014 at 19:53 #31092Perhaps he has all the film cans buried in an undisclosed garden, along with his fine cheeses, in anticipation of the coming apocalypse?

Whatever the case, the drama of the actual show has been usurped this week! When is the movie of this coming out?4 September 2014 at 19:30 #31089If I ever have a twitter meltdown I assure you my spelling, grammar and punctuation will remain immaculate.

@OldRoberts953 Your job is to create stories with correct grammar and mine is to find lost tv shows which I have. More than you know.
