The cut scene occurs before the duel ‘continues’ on the beam..If you want to see it, you might want to try dailymotion…
So I’m getting the impression that this boxset doesn’t have the alternative scenes from ‘Time of the Doctor’ where Matt Smith got his leg blown off. I’m very disappointed if that’s the case. I also hope it’s got the full version of the Prom… Can anyone confirm?

That is a very cool (and appropriate) name.
The only (sort of onscreen, humanish/maybe androidy?) examples I can think of are the chap in ‘The Awakening’ and the Headless Monks. (And of course there’s poor Dorium.) The Awakening one was pretty dark stuff…
Non-human, the Cybermen often suffered such a fate (onscreen). The Raston warrior robot was responsible for lots of course…
It probably wouldn’t feel right watching any of that sort of thing at the moment…
