@craig

There’s also Frankenstein Unbound which had Michael Hutchence as Shelley, if you can believe that. Plus the biopic of Mary Shelley from a couple of years back, which I believe is on Netflix….

Is there any chance of a new page for “TV Shows”?

The page is in use again and it is way overdue for an upgrade.

thanks.

@Craig

Didn’t the virus come out of the Indian Ocean?

I liked it. Chibnall and Whittaker both seem to be hitting their stride; there was a confident feel about this one. This was a very worthy modern ‘Green Death’, with a modern pollution problem, gruesomely exploding victims and a writer who seemed to have at least attempted to look up the…[Read more]

I can see just coming on the Forum simply to complain is frowned upon by some members, so maybe I should end this post here, LOL!

My esteemed and serene Emperor @craig I have returned from the void and see you have kept your Council in session with dignity in your pocket universe at the end of the internet.

@psymon – Yes, that’s a spoiler. That particular article is being discussed in the Spoilers forum

@craig or @phaseshift or @jimthefish – can you do some post removal please? Ta

So, I’ve managed to slog my way through a lot of backlog of music (though not the most recent ones)!

@Arbutus – awww Ella – smoky precision. And yes, I’m overly happy with that description. What tone.
@Craig – Maps is a great song; LOVED Mura Masa (reminded me of Sleaford Mods!).
@Phaseshift – that is an amazing mashup! I loved the Slayer one t…[Read more]

It costs the American tax payers 1.3 million dollars per year for armed security details for Trump’s wig alone. Not to mention that giant ego that has it’s own separate private jet.

Hmm… trying to think of something for this….

I know!

Ozzy used to be a deep thinker…

@craig

You don’t wear a bright orange floppy wig like the Trumpster do you?

Not even on Halloween?

@craig

Yes, hard to pick up intent, tone and sarcasm sometimes.

I try to use emoticons for that but it doesn’t always work.

No Sir! Not you. @craig

Was referring to my President Trump. 😀

I don’t like bringing up his name. It’s like Superman & our yellow sun.

He thrives on it.

Sorry for any confusion.

“You almost died…?!

Break out the tambourines MrsP and let us praise the Lord!!”

This is the person that you left in charge of moderating @craig…..

Good luck with that!

Sniff…What should I do?

You’ve got yourself a big mean bully on the loose here and I’m just a lowly new member here and I’m not sure that I’m able to defend myself.

How should I handle this situation? Should I call for the Mods?

Oops!

Wait a minute……It’s a ghost town in here. You probably had to let all the mods…[Read more]

My snark level meter is going off the charts right now. Is it broke or are you really that upset with me?

I’m very very sorry. I was just kidding.

Anybody and everybody could tell you that I was joking, so I’m not sure what is going on here. Are you really trying to run off your new members so fast. No wonder nobody posts…[Read more]

This band was….dare I say transcendent.

Still are. Somebody wrote this in the comments section for this video and I couldn’t have put it better myself.

“At their best, what the Doors made wasn’t just music but an incantation, a ritual in the dark to create a moment of magic.”

Spanish Caravan –  From the Live…[Read more]

Maps is a killer song.

Thanks for posting that. I wish there were more bands like that now. They sound sooooo good.

Got to go into work here in a sec. How dare they!  😀

This one speaks for itself.

@craig

I’ve seen Tim Minchen a few times. The last time was a few months ago. For a 50th Birthday treat we spent a week in Cardiff, with his gig being the cornerstone of the trip. Highly recommended to everyone.

@craig

Yeah, that did cross my mind as an objection to it…

Just saw it. OK, I am not going to hold back on this one, but before I start, there are many regulars on this site who know how much I love this show. So, keeping that in mind:

I thought this was really bad. There was too much happening too quickly (the point being that it was near impossible to relate to or reflect on anyone’s individual story),…[Read more]

@Craig you are indeed Emperor 🙂 And Tim Minchin is fab.

@missrori @jimthefish

Essentially, the whole of Nu Who, up until the “fix it” of The Name of the Doctor, has the Doctor as having committed genocide against his own people. In The Satan Pit, the Beast refers to Tennant Doc as “the killer of his own kind” and we eventually find out what…[Read more]
