I guess anything’s possible. However, if they are trying to encourage new viewers to the show, I doubt they’d introduce a character from a spin-off that even diehard Who fans didn’t really watch. It was a big enough leap introducing the Rani I think.

OK. It wasn’t perfect. Very few Who eps are. But it worked and looked great. Personally, I’d prefer references to higher brow sci-fi than Ref Dwarf, but the use of tropes that aren’t subject to fridge logic is quite clever. I don’t think Belinda is Susan’s daughter. In last week’s episode she mentioned to the Doctor that her nan took her to visit India, so she could get a sense of her heritage.

My advice to is to start drinking heavily… No!!!!

Watch everything after Empire of Death, which was mainly awful. Unless the arc saves it… eventually…I’m not holding my breath.

obvs I’m not a fan of Chibnall, so my agreement is guaranteed.

Personally, I don’t really care if the Tardis is the derelict council building from Invasion of Time, or the Doctor speaks like a Monty Python pepperpot, so long as the story makes sense and they left The Fam at home.

At the time I thought it couldn’t get worse. Hahaha.
