@conchobarre That sounds reallty great! I hope you get to meet a Doctor soon. Although the chance of seeing one of my Who favourites sounds good to me ,the crowds at the venues and the long trip to Toronto always hold me back.Too old to be stressed out I suppose. But I always love to hear about them.

@missy  Sorry , I forgot to say that I watched all 5 seasons of Ripper Street and enjoyed all of them all. Every dark ,dreary alley way and all the colorful characters kept me entertained for the whole 5 seasons. I only wish they were making more.

@missy  I did see this a few years back before I knew Peter Capaldi but I do remember the episode. I will most definately have a rewatch when I can get it at our library.Thanks for the heads up.

@jimthefish  I have to agree with you about Susan being a Time Lord. She seems a little dense to me. I can imagine her driving 12 crazy. “stop trying to swim”, “don’t wander away” “don’t follow strange footprints” etc.

@blenkinsopthebrave    I think your idea of a look back on the early years of BG Who is good one. I for one do not know as much as I should  about the early Doctors and would love to learn more. I have a few episodes of the 1st Doctor that I could rewatch and comment on and any information on the 1st Doctors life might be good before Christmas.
