@dentarthurdent  I have been without the internet for a week and when I come back there are these great interviews! Thank you. I have always said that is was Chris and Billie that got me hooked on Who and so the 9th Doctor is my Doctor and he rarely talks about the show, but now he does.Yay! I love Rose so much I named a beautiful  tea rose  Ro…[Read more]

@nerys  I am so happy that your area was spared these horrible fires but of course heart broken for my fellow Canadians who have lost everything.

It seems that Canada is burning from coast to coast. Here in Ontario there are hundreds of fires burning as well as in Quebec and the smoke was dense for a few days. No going outside for long because…[Read more]

@nerys  The fires in your province are horrible and it saddens me to see so many people losing their homes. Being evacuated on short notice and then not knowing whether your house will be there when you get back must be so stressful and upsetting. I hope you are OK and safe and that the fires can be controlled before they cause more…[Read more]

@dentarthurdent and @janetteb   This was a fun one although the Teller was frightening but in true Who manner he was just misunderstood.  How can you not think of anything? For me that is impossible. Anyway , I liked the gang and was happy that they all lived through it and I would have liked to see them again. There was a lot of running in co…[Read more]

@dentarthurdent  I have not watched this one in awhile but I remember it pretty well mostly because of Danny (not a fan ) and the poor policeman killed by the monster. That was sad. I have never forgiven Danny for not being in awe of the Doctor, the Tardis and Clara the time traveller. I also find him controlling and as an independent person I…[Read more]

@janetteb When I first saw the 9th Doctors costume I was a little disappointed but it soon matched his character , both he and his coat were a little rough around the edges. Then years later when we met the War Doctor and saw him regenerate into the 9th his clothes made perfect sense. I mean if you went to war dressed like the 5th Doc the Daleks…[Read more]

@dentarthurdent  @blenkinsopthebrave    Liz 10 was a very cool character and I would love to see her back on Who. She would make a great Doctor.

I am planning on watching the “Are you my Mummy?” episodes tonight. It has some scares and some laughs and Captain Jack! These episodes have some great banter if you like that kind of thing and I do. The…[Read more]

@dentarthurdent  Listen is one the best but also one of the creepiest. It has all the things I am scared of, the monster under the bed, the dark, being alone and unknown sounds. yikes!

By the way I store things under my bed so there is no room for monsters.

@janetteb  @dentarthurdent  @blenkinsopthebrave  @devilishrobby   Since I have spent at least 50 years in jeans and a t shirt and always wearing “appropriate”  footwear I am not a credible critic of other peoples clothes. I am a Doctor fan though and I know what I like in Doctor costumes. I like the quirky costumes like the 4th , 10th, 11th …[Read more]

@janetteb   That is really sad news for sci-fi lovers and for us here. She always had great bonkers theories that I enjoyed as well as giving us the other side(the writers point of view) of the episodes we were discussing. I will miss her opinions and the occasional time she got feisty. Farewell Ichabod.

  • winston replied to the topic Into the Dalek

@dentarthurdent  The 12th Doctor can be a crusty old guy now and then and I love him for it. So sarcastic and  he is bitey like the cold but it is all on the outside. Inside he is soft and squishy. I think he has great lines in every episode but the “carer ” remark is one of my favourites.

@dentarthurdent  I forgot to say that I totally agree about nasty two stroke engines and leaf blowers. They are loud and stinky and bad for the environment and loud. For goodness sake pick up a rake. Wood chippers make a sound that crawls up my spine and burrows into my brain.

    take care

@dentarthurdent and @janetteb    Tree lovers assemble!  It is sad to see an old friend get cut down even if it is for a good reason and unfortunately we are not done yet. We have a big maple tree and a black locus that the electric company have marked for removal but they will do it at no cost so that’s one good  thing. Both trees are lovely and…[Read more]

@janetteb  I know what you mean, when I hear that music I can only think of the Doctor and start to feel excited and happy. Very few things can entertain and take me away from my worries like this show. I don’t know why but I am glad I found it.

@dentarthurdent   I love this episode and I watch it again and again. I love to look at the stuff in the Tower to find it all which I probably haven’t yet. River’s shoes are the best.

The dialogue between the 3 Doctors is sharp and witty and the discussion over the Tardis interior is a joy for Whovians.  “You’ve redecorated, I don’t like it”  “Oh…[Read more]
