It’s all hearsay atm, and there may be more innocent explanations. As you point out, the Tardis is often rebooted when there is a new Doctor. If this is the case, then the next casting is going to be very interesting.

Nice linking of Romana there. I know there’s a lot of talk re Mrs Flood, but I’m hoping she’s a new character (or Omega!), rather than an old favourite. And, as @blenkinsopthebrave alluded to, she really needs a bit more agency – the 4th wall breaking monologue is looking somewhat old now.
