@blenkinsopthebrave  The blog sounds like a great idea. You write it and I will read it!

@janetteb  and @dentarthurdent   I liked the book and the BBC TV show but had no idea there was an American version. The book is a bit of work but worth it, quirky, smart, funny and assumes the reader has a brain. Mostly I like Dirk and his philosophies.

    Stay safe.

@craig That is a very nice Christmas sweater! I always pull out my Who stuff at Christmas. I wear all my Who clothes on Christmas day and enjoy making dinner in my scarf, hat, slippers and Tardis shirt while drinking tea out of one of my Who mugs. I put my Xmas cookies in my Tardis cookie jar but I can never fill it up.

Congrats on placing 2nd at…[Read more]

@dentarthurdent  @mudlark   @miapatrick    I have a variation of the same dream which finds me standing outside a door knowing that I have to go in and write an exam but realizing that I have forgotten everything. My mind is blank and I am in a cold panic. I can’t go in but I can’t leave either. A very frustrating dream considering I haven’t been…[Read more]

@dentarthurdent   We had hundreds of VHS tapes also and I got rid of most of them. Some were movies that I couldn’t give up but our VCR still works so I can still watch them. As for books I also have way too many so I cleared out all but my faves and books that belonged right back to my great great grandparents that are treasures. I have many of t…[Read more]

@missy   The 12th Doctors distrust with how merry the merry men were was very funny. I’m not sure I would trust anyone that merry either.

@ichabod I am imagining that if my house was bigger on the inside that I would have room for 41 years of stuff. It is not! Maybe the Tardis has a giant storage room and plenty of closet and cupboard space to hide all the things that have accumulated over so many years.  I do not! I can easily imagine how much stuff you have to clear out as I have…[Read more]

  • @oochillyo   I borrowed them from my local library, maybe yours has them too. I enjoyed them quite a lot so I hope you find them.

@davidwho   Also the 10th going back and borrowing money from Donna’s dad to buy her a lottery ticket for her wedding. A sure winner I presume.

Wilfs sad eyes that always make me cry.

@janetteb   I am far away but the disaster in parts of British Columbia is devastating for an area that  suffered drought and heat all summer. Sadly 3 people are dead with more missing and thousands of farm animals have died with more in danger, no idea how many wild animals have died but I expect thousands also.

The army is there to help re…[Read more]

@davidwho   Hello and a late welcome to the site! your list was lovely and it brought flashes of good memories that make me want to watch all those episodes again.

It is so hard to pick a few choices because there are so many feel good moments in Who. A few spring to mind while many more will come to me later.

@craig  When I found this site I was a forum newbie and I lurked for a long time while still enjoying all that went on here. I finally joined in and I have loved it here ever since. This is a great place for Whovians of all ages , countries and walks of life, united in our love (sometimes dislike) of all things Who.

@miapatrick   I am so sorry for your loss and the shock of it all. No matter how old we are the loss of our Mom is hard to take. Only time will ease your pain but I hope you find comfort where you can and Who is good for that.

    Stay safe.

Teen Angel is a really sad song.

  • winston replied to the topic General Music thread 4

@blenkinsopthebrave  It did work, thanks.  I am soooo old!

Your song is a great one. Nat King Cole is one of my faves and he is very cool.

@whisht  That is a great song and it inspired me to look mine up. It was Teen Angel by Mark Dinning, seriously Teen Angel?  I have no idea how to post it and even if I did……I might not.Not a bad song but not cool at all. Oh well I have never been accused of being cool.

@nerys  Good to see you back in one piece even if your car has a few new pieces. It is nice that all your issues were fixed and you were on your way. A guardian angel for our car would be nice.

@dentarthurdent   There was a lot I liked about this episode including the clothes, music and the spaceship made to look like a very elegant train. The cast was great and I was disappointed when Perkins didn’t want to travel with the doctor. What? The cigarette case filled with jelly babies brought a silly grin to my face during a very m…[Read more]

  • @dentarthurdent and @oochillyo    I guess this one aired before this site was started so no comments. It is a really good episode asking that age old question “Does the end justify the means?”. Tyrants everywhere have always thought so but so do good guys sometime.
